The yard is a crucial node in the operation where safety, order, and well-functioning machinery are essential. We are now looking for an experienced machine operator for our client — a person who wants to contribute to a team focused on safety, quality, and sustainable handling of goods.

About the role

As a machine operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of excavators, loaders, and forklifts at the yard. You will work closely with colleagues in warehousing and logistics, contributing to smooth flows of incoming and outgoing materials. The position involves both manual work and mechanical handling in outdoor and indoor environments.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Operating machinery and forklifts for handling goods at the yard
• Loading and unloading vehicles and placing goods according to instructions
• Sorting incoming goods
• Performing visual inspections and simple daily maintenance on machinery
• Collaborating with the warehouse and receiving team to ensure smooth flows
• Ensuring order, sorting, and correct labeling of materials
• Following procedures for occupational health and safety, as well as environmental management

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is confident in their role as a machine operator, responsible, and detail-oriented. You thrive in physical work and can work both independently and as part of a team. To fit the role, you are flexible and have a keen eye for order and safety.

Qualifications and desirable attributes

• Valid forklift license (A and/or B) or other relevant machine certification
• Documented experience in machine or forklift operation
• Good knowledge of safety procedures and occupational health requirements
• Experience from warehousing, recycling, or transport is desirable
• Ability to communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• Flexibility regarding working hours and quick problem-solving skills
• Skills in welding and gas cutting
